**American Honey (2016)**
_Directed by Andrea Arnold_
This is Jack Kerouac for the Millennial generation, the first cohort that can't buy houses, can't find meaningful work, and stares directly into a hopeless, dystopian future with no illusions left. American Honey joins a lineage of films about economic desperation and systemic abandonment — Dogville, Requiem for a Dream, Parasite, for example. But where those films found formal inventiveness or narrative urgency, Andrea Arnold's road movie drowns in its own sprawl.
I was genuinely looking forward to this, coming from th…

Can Bobby Liebling conquer drug addiction and get his band back together?
This is very similar to the documentary “Anvil: The Story of Anvil,” which came out three years earlier and would be followed by “I Am Thor” four years later in 2015. The latter concerns Jon Mikl Thor and is easily the most entertaining of the three.
While I prefer the “Anvil” documentary to this one, “Last Days Here” is pretty much on par, it’s just sort of depressing due to Bobby’s self-made plight. The movie covers the years from 2007-2010 and, when it begins, he’s 54 years-old living in his parents’ sub…

The prologue is atmospheric and fun, Carrie expy Tina is a sympathetic heroine - mental patient as heroine and sane people as depraved villains in slasher is nice enough twist - and it's all less slimy than the earlier parts, thanks to absence of toilet jokes and MPAA cutting away most of the gore. Not a good movie, of course, but it could be much, much worse.…

Just awful. I feel like I have already seen this movie a thousand times, and I did NOT even finish it. Predictable, with no story. No connection to the characters. SKIP THIS ONE!…

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an amazing movie with great voice acting and nostalgia from other Mario games. I personally think nothing is wrong with this movie, unless you are someone who's only played the games on the NES or the new games. If you are, you may not get some of the references like(spoiler alert) Star Fox, Ukiki, Rosalina, Luma's, and some other stuff. I would recomend watching if you've seen the first and if you've played Mario Galaxy.…

Feels more like a Dreamworks movie than a Pixar one. It was pretty fun but it felt unambitious compared to their other movies, there aren't many characters of note or many locations to make it feel like an adventure (most of the movie takes place in the glade or the university, both of which are fairly simple). The overarching story is also a bit... Meh. I feel like a lot of characters could've been explored and the story could've been more than just "save the glade".
It's still a good popcorn flick but it's missing a lot for it to be memorable.…

For me, one of Yorgos's best films to date.
I used to think Jesse Plemons was just an average actor, but I'm starting to really appreciate his acting, as he's surprised me lately, appearing in different films and adapting perfectly to very different roles.
100% recommended.…

**Season 1: 9/10**
**Season 2: 4/10**
I was a staunch Arcane defender when it was only one season. Sure, it was a bit cliche and melodramatic, but the animation was unbelievably good and the characters were awesome to watch. The story as a whole was pretty interesting and I wanted to see where it was going.
Then season 2 happened. What a mess, my enthusiasm for the show went straight down. Every single story arc set up in season 1 has been butchered to quickly rush the characters into what they're known as in League of Legends. Every single character was ruined. I enjoyed season 1, but …

John Ireland was a perfectly competent supporting actor, but as a lead he proves a bit lacking here. "Horn" is a bit of a rootless wanderer, famed for his prowess with a gun, who teams up with reservation agent "Stokes" (Robert Strauss) amidst an uprising from the local Indians who have had just about enough of the constant stream of "pioneers" traipsing over their territory - and who are also being goaded into mischief by "Dajin" (Scott Brady) and his squadron of army defectors who have an agenda all of their own. When the pair come across the seemingly abandoned Fort Utah, things come to a b…
