The WONDERfools
10/10 by shabsssskitch May 17, 2026
Fully satisfied with this drama. The characters and the actors playing them are all brilliant! I love how they all have chemistry. Can't stop laughing all throughout the series. The way the comedy didn't feel underwhelming or overwhelming at all. Every gag was just right amount, the emotional scenes will really tug your heart, the action scenes are not dragging, the romance is so subtle you'd be asking for more and the ending was so satisfying that leaves you smiling from ear to ear. The easiest 1000/10 out of all the kdramas this year.…

Conspiracy Theory
7/10 by felixsc May 17, 2026
Great cast, great acting, and its funny in a clever way. My main criticism is that the plot quickly devolves into a generic 90s action movie with car chases and stuff...Its ok popcorn cinema, but nothing memorable. They could have made more out of the conspiracy angle...…

Marshals
4/10 by mychelove May 17, 2026
I never liked Kevin Costner too much, but the Yellowstone was actually quite solid. They shouldn't have parasite on it. Everything above shooting bad guys in the Marshals is unnecessary, empty and boring. Guys would make a decent painball team, though.…

Madrid, 1987
10/10 by [email protected] May 17, 2026
The movie is absolutely fantastic and I hope you download it. The film is set in Madrid in 1987, a period when Spain was still going through a transitional phase after Franco's death and its transformation into a democracy.…

Village of the Damned

Spooky world building with a local anchor. This movie is genuinely creepy, and while this particular version of it doesn't give itself that much time to elaborate on certain themes, it still gives you more than enough leeway to understand how creepy and scary these children really are. The effects are pretty darn good for a movie made in the late 50s and they hold up pretty well given what they attempt to do. The casting and direction is solid and while the ending is a bit uneven, it is a magnificent movie overall. This is one worth seeing.…

Asylum of Darkness
5/10 by Wuchak March 16, 2025
**_It’s, um, creative_** A murderer (Nick Baldasare), who has been assigned to a mental institution after being declared “not guilty by reason of insanity,” escapes the state hospital and assumes the identity of another man. Curiously, the man’s wife accepts him (Amanda Howell) and the hallucinatory story proceeds from there. “Asylum of Darkness” (2013) was originally called “Season of Darkness” when it was screened at a festival, but the distributor adjusted the title for its 2017 release. It was written, scored and directed by Jay Woelfel for $200,000, shot in his hometown of …

Faces of Death
5/10 by Sierbahnn May 17, 2026
This is a meta-remake And it is a poor effort at that. It is too well-aware of itself, and its context, has some seriously strange casting-choices, and is at times shot as it deliberately trying to defuse any tension the scene might have. It is frustrating, because a movie like this could do something good, but it falls flat, and never truly gets up again.…

Love in the Time of Monsters
4/10 by Sierbahnn May 17, 2026
The quality drops off fast. The beginning of this lead me to believe I was in for something interesting, but that got squashed the further into the movie I got. This turned out to be a mess, and an underproduced low-budget mess at that. I am not faulting the cast and crew, they did the best with what they could, but the writing and budget was not there to make this even remotely interesting.…
