For all the boobies throughout this meandering 95-minute horror movie, this was actually a really dull and redundant flick where the killer pretty much does the same ritualistic sacrifice four times with little variation (though one victim he allowed to eat since she was hungry, ordering in Chinese food; how nice of him). It felt like it was going to continue in the last scene, but I was waiting for a third season. Honestly, people haven't noticed the series. I think it's a show that hasn't received the recognition it deserves. The last episode was good. Hopefully, another production company will pick it up and continue it. **_Foul satire about meaninglessness and the cult of celebrity_** This was shot in Oct-Nov 1993 when Kurt Cobain & grunge were still fresh and at the height of popularity. Indeed, the protagonist played by Stephen Dorff is reminiscent of Cobain, not to mention the director wanted Nirvana songs on the soundtrack, particularly “All Our Apologies.” While he wasn’t able to secure it due to Kurt’s suicide, he was able to acquire "Teenage Whore" by his widow and her band Hole. "Cold Storage" won't be winning any awards, nor is it terribly memorable, but it is fun. This is a very downbeat horror action comedy with a fungal zombie vibe that's ridiculous enough to work. In all honesty, I found "The Resurrected" a little too darkly cruel and cynical, for my liking. Capably acted with an intriguing, if at times, overly complex script, this series is a deep dive into what motivates people to do terrible, unforgivable things to one another. OK, so aside from the fact that polar bears and penguins live at opposite ends of the planet, this is really just a chilly version of a “Tom and Jerry” cartoon. I can't stress enough of how much I loved this wonderful piece of cinema here, when I first got the Blu-ray copy of this, I have a feeling this film was already gonna be a blast from start to finish. This movie was actually a better popcorn action movie than most of these poictacal thrillers come hijack come heists movies of late that are ok for a shelf filler as I would say in my video shop days. I would recommended it for exactly what it is and the known stars. Both well known for brawn.Funny and watchable to the end, if you dont get bored with the non stop violence. 7/10…
