"Anker" (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) has just returned to his sister's home after spending a fourteen year spell in custody for an armed robbery that netted DKR41 millions (that's about £4.5 millions) that has hiterto been unrecovered. Now we know that he gave the loot to his brother "Manfred" (Mads Mikkelsen) to bury out at their late mother's rural home, and so he hopes that's all been done and that they can go out and retrieve it. The snag is that his brother suffers from an associative disorder; has now taken to calling himself "John" and despite both carrot and stick approaches from his sibling, is…

If you're going to watch this show chiefly for sci-fi/action of course you're going to be disappointed. There were so many themes and messages that you'd overlook. This was a really heartwarming story where everyone has their moment to shine, all characters are likeable, and the story focuses on older folks as the heros without making being old the butt of a joke.…

Three words: What! A! Feast!
My my my, where to start? I went into this one not knowing exactly what to expect and was deeply skeptical given that I'm not a fan of fashion movies and I'd not seen any Boots Riley movie. However, just fifteen minutes into the movie, all my doubts were excorcised and it just got better and better to the end. I mean, for instance, how many movies have you watched recently that had literal soul-sucking demons that were fashion models and gold-star medalists at giving head?
Out of caution not to spoil any of this wonderful feast for the curious viewers, I wil…

I'm not quite sure how I feel about "Morpheus". The acting is top-notch, and the sense of a seedy, foreboding European crime drama is convincing, "but" there's a problem.
My sense of what's convincing and what's not ends there. After that point, the well-established premise falls off a contextual cliff when you examine what the rest of this story hinges upon. To digress for a moment, a comparable series like "Gomorrah" worked because you knew from the get-go who you were dealing with. The main characters were Italian gangsters; it was wholly plausible they would do the terrible things they…

"Blades of the Guardians" follows in the footsteps of what could be characterised, in terms of genre, as "Chinese Westerns".
It's a similar formula to the spaghetti Western. A rough-hewn, lone wolf character, with a questionable past, who, overcoming their personal shortcomings and trauma, ends up doing the right thing by others in need.
This film's single biggest claim to fame is action. It's relentless, with wave after wave of frenetic, polished martial arts action. Given this film is set in the classic period of China's long history, this is combined with swordplay and archery to goo…

**9 flaws that deduct stars from the movie Citizen Vigilante (2026) to deserve a 10/100 rating**: -
1. Stereotyping the image of immigrants through a screenplay based on misinformation.
2. Collective defamation of Muslims through a screenplay based on malicious rumors.
3. Spreading Islamophobia through a screenplay based on the fabrication of lies.
4. Glorifying the extremist ideology of "taking the law into one's own hands".
5. Promoting the bypassing of state institutions and violating the legal path under the pretext of "the collapse of law and order" through actions that enc…

WHAT AN AWESOME MOVIE!
This movie is the best feel good movie I've seen in a long while.
The dynamic between Momoa & Batista is exactly how siblings treat each other.
The best part (to me.) was how the film showed the dynamic of the way Hawaiian families treat each other and treat the land.
I can't gush about this movie enough...10/10…

Huge respect to Uwe Boll, because to make such a movie needs courage. Leftists hate this movie and they don't want you to watch it, because it reflects the harsh reality & the consequences of their disastrous policies they support & push. The emotional breakdown from critics over Citizen Vigilante proves exactly why this movie is a masterpiece of reality. Leftists and progressive reviewers hate this film because it completely shatters their sanitized, politically correct echo chamber and forces them to confront the uncomfortable truths they desperately try to ignore. Instead of feeding the aud…
