This was completely bonkers, in both the best and worst ways. Imagine a wild mash-up of Ready or Not, Kill Bill, and Looney Tunes, with flashes of countless other films thrown into the mix. It’s chaotic, and doesn’t always land, but it’s never dull.
The trailer does a great job of hiding a key element that I genuinely didn’t see coming. That surprise is also where the “mixed results” come in. I won’t spoil it, but while it adds a layer of dark comedy to the blood-soaked mayhem, it also hinders the movie at times, especially in an ending that’s so over-the-top it’ll likely split audiences ri…

Project Hail Mary presents itself as a modern science fiction centered on the classic mission to save the world, or in this case, multiple worlds. During his journey, the protagonist is joined by the likable Rocky, a character used to further lighten the tone and distract from a plot that evolves through one contrivance after another. The convenient demise of the entire crew feels highly engineered, serving only to force an intimate dynamic between the two characters. A series of convenient coincidences allows the story to conclude in the most favorable way possible. Furthermore, what initiall…

This is a love story that gives pure love. Go Mi Ran and Ma Dong Chan participate in a experiment that changes their lives forever. The story is well-written and has fully developed characters. It provides a sweet romance with a good mystery. It kept me guessing and added subplots that complimented the main story. The ML and FL were excellent. The chemistry was EXCELLENT. The slow burn of their romance was believable and worth the wait. Go Mi Ran is one of the best female characters I've watched in a K-Drama. She is feisty without being annoying. She showed confidence and strength. The actors …

**_Two cavemen lurk in the caves near Frankenstein’s castle_**
When this was shot there were already six Hammer Frankenstein films with only one more in the series to go. The best comparison would be “Lady Frankenstein,” which was shot 1½ years earlier. Like that one, it’s an Italian production, but with an international cast. Paul Naschy’s “Count Dracula’s Great Love” is another good parallel (despite being a vampire flick).
While critics like to mock it as “the worst Frankenstein movie ever made,” there’s only one real ‘cheesy’ element, and that’s the curious inclusion of the c…

Me and the kids sat down and watched this movie a couple of weeks ago. As somewhat of a fan of the original, having watched the sequel and being a sci-fi, computing and sfx geek I of course had to watch this one.
I’ve read some articles claiming it was not that good but I have to disagree. I think it was pretty good. The fact that the professional retards at a certain (very) rotten site claims it to be rotten was of course a sign that it might actually be good.
TRON is obviously a movie that is supposed to cater for sci-fi, computer and sfx geeks and in this I would say that it succeeds.…

_**Alan Alda as a concert pianist with a satanic anointing**_
A music journalist in the Los Angeles area (Alda) meets an aging piano virtuoso (Curt Jurgens), not to mention his beautiful daughter (Barbara Parkins), and automatically becomes like family, but his wife isn't 'hip' with the curious situation (Jacqueline Bisset).
"The Mephisto Waltz" (1971) is like "Rosemary's Baby" (1968) with slight nuances and switching the setting from an old New York City apartment building to sunny SoCal. It's on par and arguably better in some ways, especially the less one-dimensional setting, …

Fun time at the movies for sure and Samara Weaving and Kathryn Newton are good together, but this does pale in comparison to the first as that film's final 5 minutes and its twist was fantastic, though everything leading up to it was also great as well. But with that twist, this one loses some of the luster and the writing was weaker. Yet still I was entertained and some of the fight scenes were great. It's also nice seeing Sarah Michelle Gellar in a prominent role. **3.5/5**…

Project Hail Mary is a prime example of why cinemaphiles love going to the theater. If popcorn flicks are capable of being intellectually stimulating, incredibly emotional, and monumentally worthwhile, then Project Hail Mary is the ultimate popcorn flick.

Hoppers is fantastically animated, with some impressively high comedic moments, but its clunky story and funky exploration of morality keep it from being one of the Pixar greats.

Twenty years on from his Polynesian Kon-Tiki expedition, Norwegian adventurer Thor Heyerdahl has decided to explore whether or not it might be possible to travel from Africa to America on a boat built only from reed, rope and wood. With the Great Pyramid of Khufu looking on, he and a team of highly skilled craftsmen set about turning twelve tons of papyrus into something than can carry a crew of seven people, their equipment and supplies on a journey of over 3000 miles. His inspiration for this particular trip seems to be some obvious similarities between the pyramids and sculptures of Mesoame…
